Learning Disability Partnership Board Big day: 7 March 2016 at County Hall Taunton – a chance to find out more about the board and hear an update on the work that they do. During the lunch break (free lunch is provided) you can meet groups from the voluntary / community sector and the services that they offer to stay safe, keep healthy and live well (see attached easy read invitation). Be Well 2016: 2nd May 2016 at Bishop Fox’s School, Taunton – Albemarle and Bishop Fox’s School are hosting a Sport, health and wellbeing festival with official partners from Somerset Learning Disability Service, SASP and 1610. The event is open the general public but targeting individuals who are affected by health conditions. There will be demonstrations and taster sessions throughout the day as well as Community groups promoting the services that they offer (see attached poster). Disabled Cricket Coaching Sessions: February – April at County Ground, Taunton. Somerset Disabled Cricket Club in partnership with the Somerset Cricket Board are offering FREE 2 hour cricket coaching sessions for people with physical and/or learning disabilities starting in February 2016. The coaching sessions are open to people of all ages and abilities and disabilities and will take place on Saturday mornings (10am- 12pm) at the Centre of Excellence, County Ground, Taunton (see attached easy words poster).
